| Parent Orientation:- Headmistress Ms. Shoma Goswami welcomes parents to the new academic year and discusses ways in which they can participate in being partners in education. Director-Education, Ms. Anjum Babukhan, also introduces some concepts and methodologies we follow such as MI/BCL. |

| Sports Festival:- Children put up a colourful and unique show for parents. They show great sense of discipline and effort in the whole event. Our tiny-tots leave everyone spell bound with their athletic shows which include parade, drill, races, and relay. The pride moment is indeed the award ceremony for our Edufun stars. |

| Celebrations |
| |
Independence Day:- Independence Day is celebrated with a lot of patriotic flavor. Children are dressed in tri-colour clothes and sing patriotic songs. They give their tribute to valuable personalities behind our independent nation.
March past and flag hoisting also takes place followed by our national anthem. |

Raksha Bandhan:- Children and techers dressed in ethnic clothes dramatize how the festival is celebrated.
Rakhis (safety bands) are also exchanged with one another. |

| EID:- We celebrate Eid at school. Teachers and children depict how they celebrate the festival and greet/wish people. |

Halloween:- Halloween is celebrated to expose children to different holidays from around the world. Children enjoy dressing up in costumes, watching a skit put up by teachers that represent different things that are a part of Halloween.
A haunted house is also put up. |

| Diwali:- Parents are invited to celebrate Diwali: the festival of lights. The entire Centre is lit up with lights and candles. Children thoroughly enjoy all the colours whether it was from the fireworks or from the diya and rangoli display that parents put up throughout the school. |

| Christmas:- Children dress up and depict the significance of Christmas. It is a very festive and cheerful day where Santa surprises children with presents. They enjoy singing Christmas carols and celebrating at the end with a big party. |

| Special Events |

| Family Day:- A family is such an important part of one’s life. We acknowledge this day to celebrate the beauty of the family unit. Children put up different performances to entertain their parents. Numerous games are also played to enhance family bonding. Children usually make a collage with their parents and display them in the school. Parents also bring sweets and savories to share with other families. |

| Grand Parent's Day:- Grandparents play an important part in our heritage and they are the most essential members of our family and community. We celebrate this day to honour our grandparents and express our gratitude. Children put up different performances to entertain their grandparents and a number of games are played to enhance family bonding. |

| Kid's Carnival:- Children’s Day is a wonderful day that is made to celebrate the beauty of childhood. The Kid’s Carnival has several games and booths for children to play and eat. |

| Academic Events |

| Plant Life Vanamahotsav:- Vanamahotsav is celebrated in a big way at Edufun. All the children are dressed in green and there is a fancy dress competition. The school is decorated in a nature setting. Children also plant saplings and learn how to take care of plants/flowers. |

| |
| Sense Station:- Our sense stations are truly sensational. Teachers display rooms that really tickle all of the five senses. There are all sorts of vegetables, fruits, oils, and flowers that give a wonderful aroma. The taste stations also gave a vast amount of munchies that allowed parents and students to savour the different flavours. There were also numerous musical instruments that were displayed for the hearing station. The sight and touch stations provided hands on activities that were filled with games and resources. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. |

| Field Trip to Fire Station and Post Office:- The Field Trip to Fire Station and Post Office showed children how they play an importance part in our community. Children were able to sit on top of the fire engine at the Fire Station and they mailed envelopes at the Post Office. |

| Field Trip to Vengal Rao Park:- Children had a fun outing to Vengal Rao Park. They thoroughly enjoyed having a picnic in the park and playing lots of games. |

| Field Trip to Dentist:- Children had a field trip to the dentist office. The dentist explained the importance of taking care of your teeth. They checked the children’s teeth on the dentist’s chair as well. |

| Colour Week:- Teacher’s exhibited a beautiful decorated classroom for each colour that was taught for a particular week. Children thoroughly enjoyed all the fun-fullied activities that went along with each colour. |
